Gardening Jump Start

Spring is here!!!!! On the first day of spring Margie and I planted a few things in the front of the house. Margie has already dug up a nice bed in the back yard. We will have to wait a few more weeks to plant in it.

New Clinesmith Resonator Guitar

That's right folks, FedEx dropped it off yesterday. Pictures below........ it has a Koa body with Maple neck and binding. It sounds Amazing! Todd and I discussed what type of tone I was looking for a little over a year ago. On first impression I would say he nailed it. I am looking forward to breaking this one in.

Recent Sessions

I've been pretty busy over these last few weeks. Thought I would let you in on some recent sessions I've done. Lets see, I cut a track with Tyler Hilton over at Black Bird Studios, played on a couple of CMH baby lullaby (country style) records, cut a track for a record featuring Scheerhorn guitars and went into Sound Emporium and played on a song for Sara Watkins's upcoming release.
That was a really cool experience. John Paul Jones produced the project. We cut a nice slow song live with Sara singing, Sean on guitar and Mark Shatz on Bass. Here's a pic from the session.
